Illness & Refund Policy

Policy: Guest Illness and Refund Policy at Live In Fitness Retreat

 

Purpose: To provide clear guidelines for guests who become ill during their stay, outlining responsibilities and available resources.

 

Scope: This policy applies to all guests of Live In Fitness Retreat.

Procedures:

  1. Emergency Situations:
    1. If you experience a medical emergency, immediately call 911.
  2. Non-Emergency Medical Concerns:
    • If you feel unwell but it’s not an emergency, please seek medical attention at a local urgent care facility or hospital.
  3. Attendance Notification:
    • If you are unable to attend the program due to illness, you must email and text the business number to inform us of your situation. Please include:
      • The date you will be absent.
      • An estimated date for your return to the program.
      • If you were admitted to the hospital, you would need a medical clearance from the doctor to resume the Live In Fitness Retreat Program.
  4. Transportation and Meals:
    • Live In Fitness Retreat does not provide transportation outside of scheduled program activities.
    • Meals are served only during regular program times and locations.
    • If you need your meals delivered to you, please text and email the main business lines, and we can drop your meals off to you after dinner at Guest Drop off time.  We cannot guarantee delivery outside of this time frame.
  5. Medication Needs:
    • If you require medication, you will need to visit a local pharmacy.
  6. Travel Insurance:
    • We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, including illness.
    • Check your policy to understand coverage for medical expenses and reimbursement for missed portions of the retreat.
 

Refund Policy:

  • Upon check-in to the facility, program fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
 
  • Guests are encouraged to utilize travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations or missed portions of the retreat due to illness or emergencies.
