His success is a testament to his commitment to the program, dedication to his goals, and unwavering belief in the philosophy of self-improvement. Caleb’s journey is an inspiration to all of us, proving that with determination, there are no limits to what you can achieve.

 

Caleb, an entrepreneur and business owner from Oakland, runs a family-owned general contracting business alongside his brother. After the loss of both parents, Caleb and his brother took on the responsibility of continuing the family legacy while also seeking to create their own. However, the stress of this responsibility, coupled with the grief of losing his father last year, led Caleb to turn to food and alcohol for comfort. As his weight increased, he noticed a decline in his interest in activities he once loved, such as hiking, fishing, and basketball.

 

Recognizing that this lifestyle was taking a toll on his happiness and well-being, Caleb knew he needed to make a change. He began researching fitness programs on the West Coast, looking for a place where he could be coached, held accountable, clear his mind, and focus on his health. Live in Fitness matched his needs perfectly, and Caleb made the decision to commit to the program.

 

Caleb was pleasantly surprised by his rapid progress, stating, “I’m very surprised and impressed with my progress. Losing 11.5 pounds in my first week here was a big surprise!”

With the support and knowledge of the coaches, Caleb gained a comprehensive understanding of the body, muscle groups, and effective training methods. “The staff are awesome, and they all have a unique teaching style that is very effective,” he shared.

 

Caleb feels confident and motivated, stating, “I feel like the Caleb I am supposed to be.” His ultimate goal is to reach a healthy weight of 220 lbs, and he already has a plan in place to join a boxing gym and continue his workout routine at home.

 

At Live in Fitness, the focus extends beyond physical fitness to include behavioral health, constantly reminding clients of their “purpose” and “why.” Caleb’s focus is clear: to be healthy, happy, and continue growing his business, with the ultimate goal of building a solid foundation for his future family. “Being at LIF has put me back on course. I know what I want out of life, and I have the steps and courage to get there,” Caleb said with determination.

 

Caleb also cherishes the friendships he has made at the retreat. “The people I have met here have been really nice. I’ve made a couple of great friends that I hope to keep in touch with as we continue our Health & Fitness Journey!”
