When Do You Feel Your Best? Learn How to Capture That Feeling
You know those moments when you feel fully alive, confident, sexy, desired and ready to take on the world? It’s in these moments that you want your euphoria to last forever, knowing at that exact moment nothing can stop you?
Would you trade that feeling for a piece of cheesecake? The obvious answer is no, but the truth is that we do it all the time. Oprah says (one of my favorite O-quotes) “No food taste as good as thin feels.”
So why do we sacrifice the glorious feeling of invincibility…the joy of being sexy and getting noticed? The answer is different for different people, but it all boils down to which voice on our shoulder we choose to listen to.
If we want to listen to the “good” voice that reminds us of our confidence, sexiness and freedom, we will feel our best. If we listen to the “bad” voice that makes excuses like stress, social pressure or lack of time to eat…or even worse, tells us it’s okay to say “F-it,” we will continue to feel much less than our best.
If listening to the “good” voice were easy, we’d all look and feel fantastic. It’s not easy, but it’s not impossible. In fact, all we need is the ability to hear it…more importantly, we need someone who can teach us how:
LIF Founder and Life Coach Eric Viskovicz is that someone:
He teaches that there are 4 critical keys that will help you feel your best in order to be your best:
1. Visualization- If you can’t envision it before you see it, it can never manifest. Eric says you must picture in your mind the perfect body, a healthy mind, a good life, and replay those images daily meditating on them to give you a new focus and concentration.
2. Internal Dialog- After you have a vision in your mind, the right internal voice will give you the posture to be successful. What do you say to yourself about yourself? What words do you allow others to tell you that affect how you think and feel? The right or wrong internal dialog will be pivotal in helping you reach your goals.
3. Self Coaching- Eric believes that the first coach you have should be yourself. You can pay for all the personal training and life coaching in the world, but no one will be with you in the middle of the night, when you stand at the fridge with a container of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.
You have to be able to visualize your goals, speak to yourself and coach yourself out of the situation.
4. Motivation- Last it is all about motivation. Eric says that every day you should be your number-one cheerleader. Get on social media and surround yourself with positive quotes and sayings.
Get up everyday and make a determination of how you will feel. Motivation will sustain you when you feel like your strength is failing you.
The angel and the devil want very different things for you, but they have one thing in common: they’re both you. The good news is, if you follow Eric’s keys and practice them daily, the angel voice will drown out all the negative thoughts, voices and feelings that keep you from having what you want the most: to feel your best.
